Gear Aid Sea Buff is a great mask pre-cleaner that is used to prepare a new mask. Lenses of most new masks have a silicone coating that needs to be removed prior to diving. If this layer is not removed, your mask will fog up, even when using an anti fog treatment. Therefore, prepare your scuba diving mask with Gear Aid Sea Buff Mask prior to first use.
Sea Buff is mainly designed for use on temperate glass. If your mask has a special coating or treatment, contact the supplier to check if it's safe to use and always try on a small surface before using on the entire lens.
Can also be used to clean dive slates.
