Internally, the Envoy II octopus is identical to the ZX 2nd stage, except it lacks the tuning knob and the heat exchanger. The Venturi Control Lever on the Envoy II Octopus allows the diver to keep the octopus 2nd stage in the Pre-Dive position until it is needed.
